"Jerusalem Electricity" Announces Temporary Suspension of Prepaid Meter Recharging

SadaNews - The Jerusalem District Electricity Company announced a temporary suspension of prepaid meter recharging, from 11:00 PM today, Monday, 27/10/2025, until 4:00 AM Tuesday, 28/10/2025.

The company stated: "System upgrades will be carried out to ensure the continuity of services at optimal performance."

It continued: "All our electronic services will be temporarily suspended, including: prepaid meter recharging, bill payments, services through the company's branches and offices, authorized charging centers, self-service machines, the company app, and the E-SADAD platform in banking and electronic wallet applications."

The company added: "We urge our valued customers, especially those whose balances are near depletion, to ensure they have sufficient funds or recharge before the specified time to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply."

The company stated: "We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary suspension may cause and affirm our commitment to developing our services to provide you with the best experience."
