The General Authority of 'Palestine Flourishing for Animal Feed' Announces the Launch of Commercial Production for the Largest Industrial Complex in Palestine

SadaNews Economy - The 'Palestine Flourishing' animal feed company held its general assembly meeting with 95% of its members present. During the meeting, it was announced that commercial production of various types of animal feed would commence in the local market starting from the first quarter of 2025.

The 'Palestine Flourishing for Animal Feed' company was established in Hebron in 2021, initiated by the Palestine Flourishing Development and Investment Company, with the participation of strategic partners and local and international specialists in this field.

The Chairman of the Board, Mr. Basel Al-Qadi, expressed his gratitude to all shareholders, the Board of Directors, and all administrative and technical staff, as well as contractors who worked tirelessly to achieve this impactful national industrial edifice, encompassing all its components from production lines and automation to laboratories, and its launch into the local market with globally quality animal feed products, despite the numerous and ongoing challenges faced by Palestine due to wars, displacement, siege, and starvation.

This project is expected to provide a strong boost to industries in Hebron Governorate and the Tarqumya industrial area and contribute to meeting the demands of the dairy sector and the production of red meat and poultry by providing globally quality animal feed at regular intervals, which will help these facilities and farms achieve greater operational efficiency and better financial performance, which in turn positively impacts prices for the end consumer.

The general assembly meeting included a presentation of the company’s administrative report, as well as an executive summary presented by the directors of the main departments at the factory. Additionally, the general assembly approved the financial statements for 2024 in the presence of the company's legal auditor, Mr. Samir Suhar, the responsible partner at the global HLB firm in Palestine. During the assembly, Dr. Majid Atta Al-Haloo was nominated as an independent member of the Board of Directors. It is noteworthy that Al-Haloo is a Palestinian politician, the head of the Palestinian Pension Authority, a member of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Islamic Bank, and the chairman of the Board of Directors of Tamkeen Insurance Company.

It is important to mention that the factory produces the following types of feed:
1. Breeding feed for cattle and sheep
2. Fattening feed for calves, lambs, and poultry
3. Complete feed with silage components for dairy cattle and sheep
4. Feed additives for all types of feed
5. Corn and barley flakes for cattle, sheep, poultry, and horses.
6. The ability to supply grains for animal feed production to the Palestinian market.

The factory is situated on an area estimated at 45,000 square meters and consists of several facilities, the most important of which are 9 grain silos with a total storage capacity of 54,000 tons, 12 open storage areas for feed with a total storage capacity of 36,000 tons, and 3 silage trenches covering an area of 10,000 square meters with a total storage capacity of 20,000 tons, in addition to 7 dunams for storing more than 20,000 tons of straw and hay, a production tower, a multipurpose building, an administrative building, and a first-of-its-kind feeding center for cattle in Palestine.
