The Arab Islamic Bank Launches the Volunteer Program "Together We Grow"
SadaNews - The Arab Islamic Bank announced the launch of the "Together We Grow" volunteer program, a step that reflects its firm commitment to social responsibility and sustainability, and to instilling the values of solidarity and giving in Palestinian society. The program aims to engage the bank's employees in community initiatives and events that address issues of education, the environment, health, and community empowerment, thereby enhancing the culture of institutional volunteering and allowing employees to invest their experiences and skills in serving the community through an organized and effective framework.
The first activities of the program began in the Hebron governorate in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, where approximately 300 schoolbags equipped with stationery were distributed to students in schools across the governorate, coinciding with the start of the new academic year, in an initiative that reflects the program's message aimed at supporting community segments and enhancing educational opportunities.
This program comes as an extension of the bank's vision and strategy in the realms of sustainability and social responsibility, as the Arab Islamic Bank is considered one of the leading institutions in the field of social responsibility in Palestine, which has prioritized community service since its inception and regarded this as a fundamental pillar of its work alongside its banking role.
For his part, the General Manager of the Arab Islamic Bank, Mr. Hani Naser, stated: "The launch of the Together We Grow program represents an extension of the bank's vision in building a more cohesive and supportive community, and reflects our identity as a financial Islamic institution committed to its community. We believe that our employees are ambassadors of the bank's humanitarian and Islamic values, and through this program, we provide them with the opportunity to be active partners in creating a positive impact in various areas of life, as the program grants employees the chance to harness their experiences and skills in community service within an organized and effective volunteering framework."
The "Together We Grow" program is a qualitative leap in the bank's efforts towards enhancing its image as a responsible and sustainable institution that balances banking work and community service, thus consolidating its leading position in community action and sustainable development.
