For the fifth consecutive year: Al-Quds University ranked first in Palestine and 953rd globally in the QS World Ranking 2026

SadaNews - Al-Quds University has secured the first position in Palestine in the QS ranking for the 2026 cycle for the fifth consecutive year, being the only university nationally within the club of the best 1,000 universities worldwide, having achieved the 953rd position globally, marking a rise of 119 ranks since entering the global ranking.

The university ranked 644th globally in the Employer Reputation index, leading among Palestinian universities to be first nationally in this index, highlighting the job market's confidence in the university's graduates and showcasing the quality of academic programs and their alignment with market needs.

The university administration congratulated its family, students, and academic and administrative staff on this well-deserved achievement, reflecting a continuous upward trajectory in performance and underscoring the effectiveness of the university's academic and administrative policies and its pioneering scientific methodology in management, scientific research, teaching, and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. This progress represents a sign of the stability of institutional performance in light of the ongoing rise in international competitive standards.

The general score of Al-Quds University improved from 13.5 to 18.6 points, reflecting a qualitative enhancement in institutional performance, confirming the effectiveness of developmental plans and efforts made over the past years to enhance educational quality, academic reputation, and scientific research.
The university scored 18.6 in the general index, surpassing the Palestinian average of 14.2 by 4.4 points, a percentage exceeding 30.8%, indicating the university's distinction from the national context and its superiority in international quality standards.

It is noteworthy that the ranking included 1,501 universities globally, out of 8,467 universities evaluated after the entry of 112 new universities this year, reflecting intensified global competition and rising criteria for entering the ranking, emphasizing the importance of Al-Quds University maintaining its presence in this global ranking.

Al-Quds University maintained the first position in Palestine among four Palestinian universities that were ranked globally, evidencing the university's ongoing national leadership in higher education fields, representing an achievement that indicates continued improvement and long-term planning, enhancing the confidence of the local and international academic community in the university.
