The Presidency: There is no legitimacy for the occupation's actions in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza

SadaNews - The official spokesperson for the presidency, Nabil Abu Rudaina, warned of the serious escalation in the attacks by terrorist settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation forces, which targeted a number of villages and towns in the Hebron, Nablus, and Ramallah governorates, resulting in the burning of homes and a mosque, assaults on citizens, destruction of their properties, theft of their livestock, and the burning of dozens of olive trees, as part of a systematic policy aimed at stealing land and expelling citizens from their territories.

Abu Rudaina stated that the comprehensive war being waged against our people, especially in the Gaza Strip, where the occupation forces continue their aggression despite the ceasefire that the occupation authorities do not adhere to, and their continued policy of killing and destruction, recently resulting in the martyrdom of dozens of citizens and the destruction of their homes from yesterday until today, requires urgent international intervention to affirm the ceasefire and to begin implementing the second phase of Security Council Resolution 2728.

He added that the occupation government bears full responsibility for the crimes of the settlers, being the main supporter that provides them with protection, support, and impunity.

The official spokesperson for the presidency called on the US administration to take immediate and serious action to compel the occupation authorities to cease their aggressive policies and enforce a ceasefire, if it wishes to succeed in the efforts made to stop the escalation and achieve stability in the entire region.

He affirmed that the Palestinian people will remain steadfast on their land, and that these crimes will not succeed in legitimizing the occupation or imposing reality policies, and our people will regain their legitimate national rights, foremost of which is the establishment of their independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
