After US Announcement.. Jordan Denies Evacuating Aqaba Airport and Its Port
SadaNews - The spokesperson for the Jordanian government confirmed that the relevant authorities have not issued any decisions to evacuate Aqaba Airport or the seaport.
The General Director of the Aqaba Ports Company also confirmed that the port is operational, and ships are present as usual, with no closures or evacuations taking place.
The U.S. Embassy in Jordan had advised all American citizens to refrain from heading to Aqaba Airport or the seaport, citing that Jordanian authorities had evacuated the international airport and seaport in Aqaba due to a specific and credible threat.
