
Arab Islamic Bank Sponsors the International Conference on Smart Education 2025
SadaNews - As part of its strategic vision supporting digital development and community empowerment, the Arab Islamic Bank has sponsored the International Conference on Smart Education 2025, organized by the Smart College for Modern Education on July 9 and 10, 2025, in the city of Hebron, under the patronage of the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Professor Dr. Amjad Barham, and in partnership with the global IEEE organization.
The bank was represented at the conference by Dr. Maawiya Qawasmi, Director of Corporate Business and Projects, on behalf of the General Manager, along with the attendance of the Projects Unit Manager and branch managers in Hebron Governorate.
The bank's sponsorship of this international scientific event enhances its community role and its commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of the educational system and enhance technological innovation in Palestine and the region. The conference witnessed the attendance of a select group of academics and experts from various local and international universities and institutions, and included scientific sessions and workshops addressing the latest global trends in smart education and supportive digital technologies, in addition to showcasing successful experiences in the use of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and adaptive learning technologies.
The General Manager of the Arab Islamic Bank, Mr. Hani Nasser, expressed his pride in the bank's participation in this event, stating, "Our sponsorship of this conference stems from our deep belief that smart education forms the cornerstone of any real developmental and economic renaissance. Through our support of such events, we aim to contribute to building an educational environment capable of meeting global challenges and graduating empowered and creative generations."
