National Eulogy!

Rapid Israeli decisions, in a clear exploitation of the Palestinian division and fragmentation, the Arab and Islamic disintegration, global chaos, and the international community's preoccupation with an old modern distraction "Epstein Island" and other issues that divert attention from the burning Palestinian scene!

Decisions that undoubtedly contradict all bilateral agreements and international laws that are frozen when addressing the Palestinian situation and the legitimate and usurped national rights of the Palestinian Arab people! The most recent, and most dangerous to the Palestinian cause since 1917, is the Israeli Knesset's approval to annex the West Bank and enhance settlement projects there, and to release the hands of the occupying security forces and civil arms, to the extent of allowing intervention in areas classified as "A" under the control of the Palestinian Authority according to the Oslo Accords, which means a gradual withdrawal of the Palestinian Authority’s powers and emptying them of their content in favor of the Israeli civil administration!

Naturally, and as the Arab peoples have come to expect from their regimes in such matters, the reactions remained within the framework of rejection, condemnation, and warning. Notably, if not astonishingly, the Palestinian Authority firmly rejected the Israeli measures and called on all institutions not to deal with them and to adhere to Palestinian laws, urging the steadfastness and resilience of the Palestinian people! But what is truly shocking is that some Palestinian officials, who consider themselves decision-makers, deemed these arbitrary occupying measures (a declaration of war) as if the actual war on the Palestinian Arab people had begun with the approval of the annexation of the West Bank, and what happened before, including resistance and the toll of martyrs, wounded, prisoners, displaced, and refugees, was not war!? Perhaps from those officials' perspective, it was a picnic for the occupation, which confirms that the leadership is still in one valley while its people are in a very distant valley!

It seems that the Palestinian leadership has forgotten a series of previous arbitrary decisions made by the Israeli Knesset, among which is, for example, the law to execute Palestinian prisoners, which the so-called Israeli prison administration has already begun preparations to implement! Previously, this included arming extremist settlers and unleashing their hands to wreak havoc, destruction, and terror in the West Bank, while attacking the properties of the defenseless Palestinian residents!

It seems that the Palestinian leadership is still unaware of what is happening in Jerusalem, the rampant Judaization campaign without pause, demolishing homes, and violating Islamic and Christian sanctities, foremost of which is the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. Surely, the Zionist biblical dream is still shining, as some call for seizing the opportune moment to exercise full control over its courtyards and obliterate its Islamic identity, demolishing it and building the alleged temple on its ruins, God forbid. Perhaps this current Ramadan will be the last month for Muslims in their first qibla, second mosque, and third sanctuary, in addition to the planned restrictions on the steadfast Jerusalemites, the psychological and material exhaustion, aimed at obliterating the identity of the holy city and emptying it of its people!

As for the Gaza Strip, that tale did not begin on October 7, 2023, but has intensified since that date, amounting to a literal genocide, complete destruction of all infrastructure and vital facilities, turning the Strip into an uninhabitable disaster area!

A careful observer finds that there are other arbitrary occupation measures aimed at establishing complete control over the occupied Palestinian areas, ending the powers of the Palestinian Authority, and thus dismantling the Palestinian national project, effectively liquidating the Palestinian cause. Such measures could push for a silent voluntary migration of the inhabitants of the West Bank in particular, as UN reports have indicated the displacement of dozens of Palestinian families from their residential areas fleeing the terror and assaults of savage settlers, to safer areas!

Are we at a stage where we eulogize the homeland? Can it be said that the Palestinian Authority has practically entered a stage of complete collapse, failure, and the beginning of disintegration and extinction? Will we soon reach a point where we no longer have authority, homeland, or entity? Have we truly entered a path of no return? Are current priorities consumed with concerns over the constitution, elections, presidential term extensions, and appointments, or should we stop fighting over an authority without power and turn our attention to the street and its needs to bolster its resilience against the destructive Judaization machine?

Palestinians are in urgent need more than ever to break free from the bottleneck they have placed themselves in by their own hands, with their disputes and the corruption that has eroded their very bones. Before turning to Arab countries and the international community, they must first begin with themselves, unify their official and popular position, engage with the grassroots, and reorient them towards struggle and resistance, even if it comes to a comprehensive civil disobedience whatever the cost. Attaining freedom is not a cheap matter and requires tremendous sacrifices, and if indeed the Israeli measures are equivalent to (a declaration of war), the Palestinian Liberation Organization, as the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian Arab people, is obliged to withdraw recognition of the entity state and cease obligations that the entity state has already dissolved itself from; there is no longer any need to insist on commitment to them. This stance will serve as a strong impetus for the factions that have boycotted the organization to return and align with the unified Palestinian position and restore the confidence of the masses in their legitimate representative, which will grant Palestinians strength and act as a pressure factor on regional countries and the entire Middle East, affecting their interests, which will push them to exert their influence more widely and intensely on the international community, to curb the Zionist biblical ambitions.

Without a doubt, the Palestinian impasse has reached a state of either being Palestinians or not being at all. If the Palestinian leadership does not move and responds to the Israeli measures in a way that serves the supreme national interest, it will write the death certificate for the Palestinian cause, and at that moment the death of the desired Palestinian homeland will be announced, and we will mourn it in all forums!
