How long, O best nation brought forth for mankind?

Sada News - At a time when discussions about what is called "Greater Israel" have become more clearly articulated by the politicians of the Hebrew state and its general populace, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation convened earlier this week in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, representing more than a billion Arabs and Muslims, at the level of foreign ministers, and issued a "strongly worded" statement akin to the common saying "the mountain gave birth to a mouse," pleading with the United Nations to suspend the membership of the occupying state, while clearly ignoring that this international body is controlled by the world's superpower, the United States of America, the main ally of the Israeli occupying state and its partner in the crimes of killing, destruction, displacement, and genocide committed against the Palestinian Arab people in Gaza, the West Bank, and Arab Jerusalem.

In the spirit of transparency in reporting, the statement was not devoid of phrases of condemnation, denunciation, warning, and boasting about the Palestinian cause as a central issue for the Islamic nation, urging the necessity of supporting the Palestinian people, but as usual, without addressing practical mechanisms on the ground, and even without a strategy and plan leading to an Islamic renaissance that confronts the Zionist ambitions.

So when will you awaken from your slumber, O best nation brought forth for mankind, and return to your senses and stand up for your brothers and save your homelands? What will you do when your enemy has openly declared that he targets you and covets your land, resources, and capabilities!! He has secretly planned and succeeded in many stages and is almost exhausting you and eliminating what remains of you!! And you are in a deep sleep, rushing towards reconciliation and normalization, while cancer gnaws at your bodies, striving with all its might to finish you off!! It dances on your pains and sorrows, sows moral and material defeat in your hearts, disturbs your peace, fuels the spark of discord in your arenas, and confines your subjects' thinking to merely seeking continuity of existence!!

A spring has swept across the Arab and Islamic lands under the banner of spreading democracy and combating backwardness, a spring that was supposed to see the trees of freedom and liberation from dictatorship grow, but it quickly turned into a bitter autumn stained red from the intensity of killing, destruction, displacement, and starvation.. Afghanistan, rich in its cultural heritage, was beset by countries coveting its resources, and withdrew dragging the tails of defeat, but left behind a scorched land, green Tunisia has dried up and its trees have died!! Egypt, the mother of the world, has been sidelined and shackled with chains and stripped of its Arab motherhood!! Sudan's fertility, sufficient for the nation, has been killed!! Libya, the chosen one, has been crushed and looted!! Syria, the cradle of Arabism, has been torn apart between Sunnis, Shiites, Alawites, and Kurds!! Yemen, the happy one, has been stripped of happiness and beset by both brothers and enemies, torn to shreds!! Iraq, the land of honor, glory, and civilization, has had the laws of Hammurabi, the foundation of justice and order, stolen from its bowels, and has become a stage for discord and conflicts!! As for the jewel of the Arab and Islamic worlds, Palestine, it has been excised from your core and has become a focal point for cancerous spread in your body, nourished by the greedy, and the miracles of the prophets therein have been obliterated!! Yet it still struggles for survival and confronts those who attempt to wrest it from the embrace of its extended family from the ocean to the Gulf, so what are you waiting for while the collar of shame tightens around your necks, and you still cover yourselves in deep slumber? And you plead for pity from an enemy that lurks and plots against you!!

Palestine, the last stronghold that remains steadfast to this moment against the ambitions of the greedy, what is happening in Gaza in particular, and in Palestine in general, has become a miracle of modern times, a legendary steadfastness despite the heavy losses, and a genocide being inflicted on the Gazans, and a war of starvation practiced by the greedy Zionist occupation, Gaza is the alarm bell for the nation to awaken from its slumber and preserve the legacy of fathers and grandfathers from history and glory.

Pay close attention to what is happening in Gaza: its children are killed in their tents while they sleep!! Its men are killed while they struggle to obtain a quantity of flour to feed the hungry!! Its women are slaughtered for a small amount of water to quench their thirst!! Its elders are killed while they are in prostration to God!! Infants' lives end before they take their first breaths in this world!! Truth bearers have their eyes gouged out to conceal it!! Narrators of the painful reality have their tongues cut off before uttering a plea to alleviate the suffering surrounding them from all sides!! In Gaza, people are killed in cold blood, and often they find no one to bury them, while others await death at any moment in a world that has become deaf!! Their only crime is that they seek freedom and have knocked on the doors of justice without permission, but they found them closed, so they have no one left to plead to but the heavens that have not ceased to rain down burning shells upon them!!

In the West Bank, its olives are uprooted from the roots to obliterate any indication of the spirit of the desired peace!! Camps are demolished on the heads of their inhabitants to kill the witness to suffering that has persisted for more than seven decades!!

In Jerusalem, the holy site that has become a stone's throw away - and God forbid - will be the alleged temple!! Its streets, once bustling with Arab glory, are now covered in blue!!

In Palestine, O best nation, history is being written in ink of blood and tears, while you remain oblivious, covering yourselves in slumber, and some of you weep with songs and chants!! They have planted in your minds intellectual terrorism by terrifying you with imaginary enemies or by practicing arrogance and haughtiness with you, and burying any attempt to escape from their brutality, so it was necessary to eliminate any idea of liberation, unleashing the devils on national revolutions, and Islamic jihadist ideas, which arose to liberate the lands after the colonialism that it was subjected to in the aftermath of World War II, and they planted agents to abort their ideas, putting them against each other, to divert them from the noble goal they seek, which is liberation from the imposed slavery!!

Palestine, the beating heart of the nation, had its revolutions aborted by schemes that facilitated its occupation later, and its leadership was left, like Haj Amin al-Husseini and the martyr Abdul Qadir al-Husseini, alone in confronting the Zionist gangs during the 1930s, and conspiracies were plotted against the contemporary Palestinian revolution, which restored dignity to the nation in the Battle of Dignity, after multiple defeats, and as soon as Gaza raised the banner of freedom, both near and far allied against it to abort any remedy prepared for excision, or at least to stop the spread of the malignant cancer in the Arab and Islamic body, but Gaza was also left alone to struggle with all its might and the bonds of horses, exhausting the strength of the mightiest global powers, and it almost succeeded were it not for the usual betrayal from toxic veins planted by the enemy in the body of the nation.

The Arab and Islamic renaissance comes from Palestine, and the success of its revolution will pull the nation out of its crisis, and will later be completed by awakening from slumber and changing the course through a unified and integrated Arab Islamic cooperation, and moving towards ending the suffering and the usurpation of Arab land. So awaken, O best nation brought forth for mankind.
