Ignorance Reaching the Degree of Collusion

Political analysts and strategists supported by foreign and Arab research centers, as well as newly established Arabic-speaking satellite channels affiliated with emerging states, continue to assert that Netanyahu initiated the war and continues it to maintain his government coalition and evade judicial prosecution on corruption charges.

This political approach that holds Netanyahu responsible for the war and its repercussions can be described, at the very least, as limited and not fully aware of the reality of the Zionist project, the shifts in Zionist society, the international system, and the nature of relations between Washington and Tel Aviv. It also treats Netanyahu as any Arab leader who places his personal interests above those of his country.

What Netanyahu is doing with the massacres in the Gaza Strip is not separate from what is happening in the West Bank with the rapid expansion of settlements, the demolition of homes, the killing of citizens, arrests, tightening restrictions on the Palestinian Authority, and the outright rejection of the establishment of a Palestinian state, as well as refusing to comply with international legitimacy decisions. All of this cannot be separated from the plans that Israel and Washington are laying out for arrangements in the region, such as normalization, the exploitation of Syria, and aggression against Iran and Lebanon, all of which fall within the context of a broader plan for the Middle East, rather than just an individual policy for Netanyahu's personal interests.

If the issue was merely about Netanyahu's desire to maintain power and evade trial, then why does the army stand by him, and why do the majority of Israelis, including opposition forces, rally around him? And why do Washington and most European democratic regimes support a corrupt president while Trump works on dropping the corruption charges against him?

These analysts and media outlets, whether intentionally or unintentionally, obscure the reality of what is happening and reduce the issue to Netanyahu, thereby exonerating Israel, the Zionist movement, and America from responsibility for current events. They also defend and justify the silence of Arab and Islamic regimes, and the complicity of some, as if with Netanyahu's disappearance from the scene, Israel would return to being a democratic state that loves peace, and Washington would return to being a friend to the Arabs.

It is true that Netanyahu wants to clear his name, free the hostages, and appear as a national hero for the Jews, but he is coordinating with the global Zionist movement on a grand strategic plan to save the state from an existential threat from two sides:

First, the existence of a majority Palestinian population between the sea and the river, where all of Israel's wars, killings, arrests, the oppression of Palestinians, and Jewish migrations from all countries have failed to change the demographic equation, leading to the failure of the pure Jewish state plan.

Second, the presence of Arab peoples and resistance and defiance movements in Palestine and the region that still reject the existence of the state of Israel and hinder the new Middle Eastern project.

Therefore, a great war was needed, and he found in the Zionist right-wing and in the teachings of the Torah and the foundations upon which the Zionist project was built his solution, convinced that he is executing the will of God!

Before the war, Israel was indeed living an existential crisis despite its military strength, international alliances, and scientific and technological advancements, but it was facing an existential crisis no less significant than that of the establishment of a Palestinian state. Then came the Hamas flood and everything that followed.
