A Despicable Situation Led by Despicable People
How do you perceive the situation? This question is something you hear daily from various inquirers, and you either respond with a severe insult to the state of affairs likened to "pavement and trash" or "an old shoe", or you remain silent, exhaling hot air from your nostrils. Because the inquirer already knows that we are in a chaotic state. No one can describe the current situation; you find solace near a wedding, you find a satisfied person next to a hungry one, you find a beggar next to a glutton, you see someone raising the victory sign as long as they are not harmed, and you find someone crying over the state of our despicable matters. We are a people of tyrants, they tell you, but it is on hold when needed. Did you not see people at a gas station when a rumor spread about its scarcity? How they scrambled at the pumps! Did you not see us during a traffic crisis tossing insults like bulgur? Did you not notice that when you request to gather aid for a needy family, how the hands of those sitting with you tremble for fear they might break the taboo of the misers of al-Jahiz? Did you not witness how they mock those who sacrificed fighting yet remained alive? It is hypocrisy, my esteemed sirs, or political schizophrenia. We are, for the most part, hypocrites and liars, and lying is the father of all sins. The first to volunteer for civil administration when the authority collapses is a liar, just like some did during the occupation, kicking the door of the military governor with their feet and now we find some of them kicking the widest doors with the same feet. A despicable situation that we do not live through ourselves, despite its despicableness, but it is experienced by the Arab world, oppressed by authoritarian governance by the ancient cousins of idols. The entire world lives in programmed despicability led by figures shackled in the heel of the Zionist lobby’s shoe. How can you imagine a world led by a rapist, a maniac obsessed with minors, a liar, a fraud, and one who urinates in his pants without cleaning his rear with water, ignorant of geography and history, surrounded by billionaire robots of swindlers and deceivers? It must be a lowly and contemptible world, lesser in filth than the dirtiest inhabitants of the White House.
Our situation is far from normal and will not improve in the foreseeable future if we are destined to remain, and I am skeptical about that. No one can convince me that the occupying power, which knew where Iranian commanders and Hezbollah leaders slept, where they met, the homes of officials, the hiding places of missiles and warehouses, the route of any official, the type of his car, and his name, did not know a single line about the "Flood of Al-Aqsa" that began planning in 2018. Why did they turn a blind eye to it? Why did the Syrian regime collapse within days without resistance? Questions that require further reflection.
