Two American Soldiers Killed and One Missing Following Iranian Attack on Jordan

SadaNews - The U.S. Central Command announced on Saturday evening that two soldiers were killed and a third is missing following an Iranian attack on Jordan on Friday, amid ongoing escalation and mutual attacks between Tehran and Washington.

In a statement from "Centcom" via the "X" platform, it was mentioned that "two American soldiers were killed while performing their duties in Jordan, during the response of Central Command forces and their partner forces to Iranian attacks using ballistic missiles and drones."

It added, "A third American soldier has also been reported missing, and his fate remains unknown."

Four American soldiers were airlifted to receive treatment in Jordanian hospitals, before they were later discharged after their conditions stabilized. The other soldiers who underwent examination for minor injuries returned to their duties, according to the "Centcom" statement.

American officials spoke yesterday to CBS News, mentioning that several U.S. military personnel were injured following their facilities being shelled in an Iranian attack on two Jordanian bases this week.
