Occupation Burns Dozens of Olive Trees in Deir Qaddis West of Ramallah

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces burned dozens of olive trees in the village of Deir Qaddis, west of Ramallah, this evening, Saturday.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces chased farmers working on their lands in the areas of Jabal al-Ras and Bir al-Asafir south of the village, firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters at them, which caused fires to spread across large areas of land planted with dozens of olive trees.

It was mentioned that the occupation forces prevented civil defense crews from reaching the fire area to bring it under control, resulting in its extension over vast areas of citizens' lands in the southern part of the village.

Deir Qaddis and the surrounding villages and towns west of Ramallah are subjected to continuous incursions by occupation forces, alongside persistent attacks by settlers on citizens and their properties.
