The Ministry of Education Organizes the "Land and Identity" Exhibition to Showcase Students' Artistic Creations

SadaNews - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education organized today, Tuesday, the artistic exhibition "Land and Identity" in partnership with the Palestinian Museum and the Tamer Institute for Community Education, aimed at highlighting students' creativity, developing their artistic talents, and strengthening their connection to their national and cultural identity through visual arts.

The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Student Affairs, Sadiq Al-Khodour, the Director General of Student Activities, Mohammed Salem, the Director of Production and General Programs at the Palestinian Museum, Aboor Hashash, the Director of the Cultural Activity Department at the Ministry, Nadin Toukan, and representatives from the Tamer Institute for Community Education, alongside a number of educational family members, students, and those interested in cultural and artistic affairs.

The Ministry emphasizes that it views the arts as a fundamental pillar in building students' personalities, a means to reinforce national identity, foster creativity, and enhance values of belonging, alongside its role in supporting the educational process.

Al-Khodour pointed out that the "Land and Identity" exhibition embodies the creative energies that Palestinian students possess, and their ability to express themselves and their national and humanitarian issues through the language of art, affirming the Ministry's keenness to provide spaces that nurture these talents and enhance partnerships with cultural and national institutions, enriching the educational environment and opening broader horizons for students to create and innovate.

The exhibition included a collection of artworks representing the outcomes of artistic activity competitions carried out within the framework of student activities aiming to develop creativity and artistic skills among students, where the displayed works drew inspiration from mimicking the works of Palestinian artist Fathi Ghabin and Iraqi artist Dia al-Azzawi, in addition to expressive paintings created by children that reflected their feelings and vision of the world around them.
