US Army Announces Conclusion of Latest Strikes on Iran

SadaNews - The US Central Command "CENTCOM" announced on Wednesday the conclusion of the latest round of strikes targeting Iran.

CENTCOM stated in a message on "X": "An additional round of strikes against Iran was executed on July 14".

The statement added: "We hit dozens of military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and on the Iranian coastal areas".

The statement indicated that "fighter jets, drones, and warships launched precision-guided munitions on Iranian missile and drone sites".

US President Donald Trump had mentioned to Fox News on Tuesday that he would expand American strikes on Iran next week to include power plants and bridges if Tehran does not reach an agreement.

Trump said during the interview with Fox News: "Next week will be very bad for them because next week power plants will be targeted. Next week bridges will be targeted," according to reports from Agence France-Presse.

He emphasized that "all their power plants will be destroyed. We will destroy all their bridges unless they return to the negotiating table".

According to Trump, the United States had discussions with Iran on Tuesday, adding that "America urged Iran to reach an agreement".

The US president continued: "Iran still has some capability to fight but it is not great".

Trump concluded his remarks by saying: "Strikes on Iran will continue until I decide that is enough".
