Sada News Economy - In a move that reflects the growing global Palestinian cooperation in the fields of technology and innovation, the Intersect Group, supported by Bank of Palestine, announced a strategic partnership with Expleo Solutions Limited based in the United Arab Emirates and India, part of the French-rooted Expleo Group. The aim is to create quality job opportunities, connect local talents with regional and global projects, develop Palestinian technical competencies, and enhance the innovation ecosystem.

This partnership comes in response to the increasing demand for engineering and technical competencies and the need to develop local capabilities that can provide advanced services according to global standards. By combining the global expertise owned by Expleo and the role played by the Intersect Group, supported by Bank of Palestine and local and international entities, the partnership aims to build a system that connects education with industry, innovation, and employment. It also aims to prepare a generation of Palestinian engineers and specialists who are capable of competing globally and contributing to the implementation of regional and international projects.

The partnership is based on two main pillars that form an integrated system for building the technical capacities of Palestinian youth on one hand and enhancing economic development on the other. The first pillar focuses on talent development and attracting technical competencies, qualifying them according to the best global standards, and providing them with opportunities to participate in projects led by Expleo at both regional and international levels, contributing to the creation of sustainable job opportunities and enhancing the presence of Palestinian competencies in local and global markets.

The second pillar focuses on collaboration with Palestinian universities to develop specialized academic and training programs in technology, artificial intelligence, and digital engineering that meet the needs of the labor market and bridge the gap between academic education and practical application. The parties will work on implementing programs to build the capacities of university students, engineers, and independent entrepreneurs, enhancing their readiness to engage in the digital economy and compete in regional and international markets.

Under the partnership memorandum, Intersect Group will be the exclusive partner of Expleo Group in Palestine in the areas of talent attraction, employment, and networking with related universities and institutions, enhancing the transfer of knowledge and global expertise to Palestine and establishing a sustainable system for developing human capital and attracting regional technology projects that contribute to providing new job opportunities for creative Palestinian youth.

For his part, Mahmoud Al-Shawa, General Manager of Bank of Palestine, confirmed that this partnership represents a strategic milestone in the group’s journey towards building global partnerships that have a sustainable impact on Palestinian youth, reflecting its vision of investing in human capital as the true driver of development and innovation.
