Southern Lebanon Under Israeli Bombardment Awaiting US-Iran Agreement

SadaNews - Towns and villages in southern Lebanon continue to suffer from a series of sporadic Israeli airstrikes.

Many towns and villages were subjected to aerial and artillery bombardment by Israeli forces without any recorded casualties during the early hours of Saturday.

There were large explosions heard in several villages due to demolition operations carried out by Israeli forces.

The number of Lebanese martyrs has exceeded 3,000 since the resumption of fighting on March 2.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced it carried out 17 attacks on Friday against Israeli forces.

Hezbollah and other Lebanese parties are banking on progress in negotiations between Iran and the United States to halt the war in Lebanon. Meanwhile, official parties are relying on direct negotiations taking place between them and Israel under American sponsorship.
