Iranian Agency: The Memorandum of Understanding with the US Includes Lifting Sanctions and Excludes Discussion of the Missile Program

SadaNews - The Iranian agency "Mehr" announced that the memorandum of understanding with Washington includes the US commitment to lift sanctions, withdraw its forces from areas around Iran, and lift the maritime blockade.

The agency mentioned that the final negotiations will focus on nuclear and economic issues, excluding discussions on the Iranian missile program, according to what was reported by Reuters news agency.

The memorandum of understanding also includes, according to "Mehr", the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, the cancellation of oil sanctions, and the release of frozen Iranian funds.

The agency indicated that the draft agreement requires final approval from the relevant Iranian authorities.
