Awqaf: Two Minor Injuries from a Self-vehicle Accident Involving One of the Pilgrims' Buses Near the City of Khaybar

SadaNews - The Deputy Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, and Deputy Head of the Palestinian Hajj Mission, Issam Abdul Halim, reassured our people about the safety of the pilgrims from the provinces heading back to their homeland, confirming that they are all fine and in good health.

This came after one of the Palestinian pilgrims' buses was involved in a self-vehicle accident near the city of Khaybar while on its way to the city of Tabuk in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in material damage to the bus, and two pilgrims sustaining minor injuries.

Abdul Halim explained that the ministry's teams and the accompanying medical mission responded to the situation with utmost speed, as the injured were immediately transferred to the nearest medical center, where they are still receiving the necessary health care to ensure their complete safety. Additionally, the ministry, in coordination with the relevant authorities and the transporting company, provided an alternative bus immediately to transport the pilgrims and continue their journey towards the city of Tabuk in preparation for their entry into Jordanian territory.

He added: "We are monitoring our pilgrims' conditions moment by moment, and we urge our people and the families of the pilgrims to be completely reassured; all our pilgrims, thanks to God, are surrounded by full care, and the Awqaf missions are working around the clock to serve them and ensure their safety and comfort."
