Engineers' Syndicate Announces Suspension of Protest Actions Following Agreements with the Palestinian Government

SadaNews - The Engineers' Syndicate announced on Saturday the suspension of all previously announced protest activities, effective from tomorrow, Sunday.

The syndicate confirmed in a statement its commitment to adhere to the working schedule announced by the government.

It indicated that agreements had been reached with the Palestinian government during recent meetings as part of a dialogue and negotiation process.

The syndicate noted its decision to give the government an opportunity to implement these agreements, which include a set of rights owed to engineers working in public service and military engineers, with some of these rights to be implemented directly.

It pointed out that the Engineers' Syndicate Council worked intensively and responsibly during the past period, and with a high national spirit, to allow the government to respond to the just demands and to ensure fair treatment of public service employees and military engineers, as well as to safeguard their legitimate rights.

The syndicate affirmed again its full support for all engineering employees and its commitment to their rights.
