Gaza Health: 6 Martyrs and 8 Injuries in 24 Hours

SadaNews - The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that 6 martyrs and 8 injuries had arrived at hospitals in the region over the past 24 hours.

The ministry clarified in its report that among the martyrs, five fell as a result of new targeting, while one person succumbed to previous injuries, noting that several victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, amid the inability of rescue and civil defense teams to reach them.

It added that since the ceasefire began on October 11th, the total number of martyrs has risen to 904, while the number of injuries reached 2,713, along with 777 cases retrieved from under the debris during the same period.

The ministry indicated that the cumulative toll of the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,797 martyrs and 172,821 injuries across various provinces of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip continue for the 228th consecutive day, despite the understanding reached through Arab and American mediation in October 2025, which came into effect on the 11th of the same month.

In the latest developments, a young man was martyred due to his injuries, and two displaced individuals were injured in the early hours of Monday, as a result of gunfire and artillery shelling that targeted various areas of the Strip, including a home in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, in addition to shelling in eastern Khan Yunis and the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood.

In northern Gaza, Israeli artillery targeted the eastern areas of the Jabalia camp, coinciding with scattered strikes that hit the outskirts of Gaza City, as part of a continuous military escalation taking place in the Strip.

Israeli warboats also continued to target fishing boats off the coast of Gaza City, resulting in injuries among civilians, while Israeli artillery targeted areas east of the Jabalia camp and in the northern sector.
