West Bank: Raids, Arrests, and Injuries from Occupation Forces and Settlers
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of incursions and raids in cities and villages in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during the early hours of Sunday. This included house raids and searches, detaining residents for hours, in addition to field interrogations and arrests of dozens, amidst a heavy military presence and gunfire in some areas.
Medical sources reported the injury of four Palestinians, including a child and a girl, during assaults carried out by the occupation forces and settlers in various areas.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that a 17-year-old boy was injured by live bullets in the hand and thigh near the Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm, northern West Bank.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces arrested several Palestinians, including children, following attacks carried out by settlers in the Old City.
The Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate witnessed incursions into several villages, including Kobar, Deir Jreer, Abwein, and Aroura, which included the arrest of a young man during a raid on one of the houses.
In Jenin, the occupation forces raided the villages of Rummana, Anin, Siris, and Taybeh, and carried out searches of several homes amidst a wide military presence.
In Hebron, the incursions included the city and the towns of Sa'ir and Al-Shuyukh, along with raids and gunfire in the village of Al-Hijra in the south of the governorate.
In Bethlehem, the forces raided the village of Harmala and the Balou area near the town of Al-Khadr, firing sound bombs during the operations.
Tulkarm also witnessed repeated incursions into homes in the Nour Shams camp and the firing of flares, while the occupation forces raided the Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho and carried out searches and arrests.
In Qalqilya, the incursions reached the village of Kafr Qaddum east of the city, where several homes were raided and a number of citizens were arrested, including the brothers of prisoner Shadi Jumaa, as part of the ongoing campaign of incursions in the West Bank.
