Hamas Calls for Direct Meeting with Fatah after the Conclusion of Their Eighth Conference to Agree on a National Strategy
SadaNews - The head of the National Relations Office and a member of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Hussam Badran, stated that the eighth conference of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement "Fatah" is an opportunity to achieve a leap in Palestinian national internal relations and enhance readiness to confront the occupation's plans that aim to permanently eliminate the Palestinian cause, exploiting international and regional circumstances.
Badran, in a press statement distributed by Hamas, called on Fatah to have a direct meeting after the conclusion of their current conference in order to agree on a Palestinian national strategy regarding all issues that concern our people during this sensitive phase that the cause is undergoing.
Badran said: "It is time to rise above differences and the consequences of the past, and to focus on the present and future based on national partnership, collective responsibility, and to move politically and on the ground in a manner that corresponds with the sacrifices of our people who are waiting for clear and direct actions from us that would change their difficult reality in all areas."
The Hamas leader wished success and good fortune to Fatah in their eighth conference.
