Hebrew Channel Claims: Hamas Prevented Palestinian Contractors from Accessing Rafah to Work in the New City

Translation by SadaNews - The Hebrew Channel Reshet Kan claimed on Tuesday evening that the Hamas movement prevented contractors living in Gaza from working in the new Palestinian city planned to be established in Rafah.

According to the Hebrew channel, as translated by SadaNews, a group of contractors was supposed to reach the Israeli-controlled side last week in coordination with the United States but were prevented under threat of weapons by Hamas elements and returned to the Gaza Strip.

The channel indicated that this is the first time Hamas has prevented an activity coordinated by the American leadership and which received approval from the Peace Council under U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the next phase in Gaza.

It reported that Israeli security agencies sent messages to the United States and the Peace Council: We are approaching a renewal of fighting in Gaza.
