Fattouh: The seizure of lands in Jenin and the construction of colonial roads is a crime of ethnic cleansing
SadaNews - National Council President Rouhi Fattouh stated that the notification by the Israeli occupation forces of the seizure of lands in the Jabriyat area overlooking the Jenin camp, coinciding with the construction of new colonial roads in the lands of Anin and Silat al-Harithiya, constitutes a crime of ethnic cleansing and part of the ongoing war crimes being committed by the occupation government against the Palestinian people.
Fattouh affirmed, in a statement he issued today, Sunday, that these colonial policies are being conducted in direct coordination with the settlers' assaults and their organized rampages against Palestinian citizens, with the aim of forcibly displacing the residents and imposing colonial facts on the ground of the occupied Palestinian territories.
He called on the international community to conduct a comprehensive review of its policies and positions toward the occupying state, and to take practical and deterrent measures to stop its crimes, treating it as an apartheid state that systematically and sustainably violates international law and human rights.
