Hebrew Channel: Palestinian Security Transferred Thousands of Weapons from Tulkarm to Jenin Last Week
SadaNews - The Palestinian security services carried out a massive transfer of thousands of weapons and advanced military equipment from Tulkarm to Jenin at the end of last week, with the approval of the occupying government and the Israeli army, according to the far-right Hebrew Channel 14.
The Israeli channel, as translated by SadaNews, stated that this step, implemented in full coordination with the Israeli political leadership, sparked widespread controversy and serious doubts among Israeli security officials, especially in light of the tense security and field situation.
According to the same channel, 6,116 pieces of weapons were transferred, including 20 Kalashnikov rifles, 15 M16 rifles, and a machine gun. Over 2,100 live ammunition rounds and 128 shotgun shells were also moved, significantly increasing the firepower of Palestinian security forces.
An Israeli intelligence source told the channel known for its extremism against Palestinians, "We estimate that the Palestinian Authority also possesses weapons prohibited under the Oslo Accords, including anti-tank weapons - and to this day they have not acknowledged this, and we are unable to locate them."
Channel 14 added, "In addition to firearms, the shipment included tactical equipment and personal protective gear, including 40 helmets and 6 combat vests. It is also notable that diving equipment was transported, including 4 bags and 6 oxygen cylinders, to the city of Jenin, which is known not to be a coastal city. The presence of this equipment in the hands of the Palestinian security services in the heart of the West Bank raises serious questions about its real purpose and how it will be used in the future, particularly in marine infiltration operations or commando missions."
