German Foreign Minister: America and Iran are in indirect contact and planning a meeting
SadaNews - German Foreign Minister Johan Wadephol said on Friday that the United States and Iran have held indirect negotiations, and representatives from both sides intend to meet soon in Pakistan.
He told Deutschlandfunk radio: "Based on the information I have, there have been indirect contacts, and there are preparations for a direct meeting. It seems that this will happen very soon in Pakistan."
Additionally, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he would extend the deadline for Iran until April 6 to reach an agreement to end the war before destroying its energy facilities, noting that discussions are going "very well," but Tehran rejected the U.S. proposal and described it as unfair.
