Trump Delays Strikes on Energy Stations in Iran.. Grants Talks 5 Days
SadaNews - After giving Iran 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he has directed a delay of any military strikes against Iranian energy stations for 5 days.
Trump added in a post on his "Truth Social" platform that the U.S. and Iran have had very good and fruitful discussions over the past two days.
He stated: "Our discussions with Iran were aimed at reaching a complete and comprehensive solution to our hostilities in the Middle East."
He continued: "I have ordered the postponement of all strikes against Iranian energy stations and energy infrastructure for 5 days."
He noted that in-depth, detailed, and constructive talks with Iran will continue throughout this week.
