Drone attack on intelligence agency in Baghdad results in officer's death
SadaNews - A drone attack occurred this morning, Saturday, on the building of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service in Baghdad, resulting in the death of an officer.
A military statement indicated, "At 10:15 AM today, a drone fell inside the headquarters of the intelligence service on a communication tower." It added that the air defense "engaged with the aircraft."
Saad Maen, head of the government security media cell, stated in a brief statement that "the headquarters of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service in the Al-Mansour area" in the center of the Iraqi capital "was targeted by a drone at 10:15 AM (07:15 GMT)."
