Israeli Ambassador in Berlin Criticizes Meeting of German University President with Palestinian Ambassador Leith Arfa

SadaNews - The Israeli Ambassador to Berlin, Ron Prosor, stated in a post on the "X" platform regarding the meeting of the Palestinian Ambassador to Germany, Leith Arfa, with the President of the Technical University of Berlin, Geraldine Rauch: "While Geraldine Rauch smiles as she welcomes the representative of the Palestinian Authority, who once again resorts to inciting against 'Israel', a fundamental question arises: Where is the Technical University of Berlin heading under her leadership?".

He added, according to SadaNews translation, "Under Rauch's tenure, the university has increasingly given the impression that it has begun to lose its direction. We hope this will change by the end of her term".

He emphasized that the necessary first step would be to remove Professor Uwe Jensen from the position of Deputy Director of the Center for Antisemitism Research (ZfA) at the Technical University of Berlin.

He stated, "Jewish students deserve a university that fights antisemitism, not one that makes it relative".
