The Minister of Interior and Accompanying Delegation Participate in the Opening of the World Defense Exhibition 2026

SadaNews - The Minister of Interior Ziad Hab Al-Reeh, along with his accompanying delegation, participated in the opening of the World Defense Exhibition 2026, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The delegation included Major General Alam Al-Saqa, Director General of the Palestinian Police, Major General Akram Thawabat, Director General of the Civil Defense, and Colonel Dr. Mahmoud Salah Al-Din, Director of Arab and International Relations at the Ministry of Interior.

The Minister Hab Al-Reeh held a meeting with Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayaf Al-Muqrin, Deputy Minister of Interior in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which they affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange experiences, contributing to the development of the performance of the Palestinian security institution.

The Minister and members of the delegation also visited Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, where they were welcomed by the University President, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Majid Al-Bunyan, who briefed them on the university's facilities, specialized departments, research and training centers, and advanced academic programs that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of members of the security forces and promoting professionalism according to the best standards.

As part of the visit, the Minister of Interior and the accompanying delegation visited the Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where they were welcomed by Palestinian Ambassador Mazen Ghneim and the embassy staff. The Minister was briefed on the work progress and services provided to the Palestinian community and met with several community members, listening to their observations and needs, reaffirming the Palestinian leadership's commitment to enhancing communication with communities abroad and providing them with the best services.
