Trump "hopes" he won't have to use warships headed to Iran
SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his hope on Thursday night to Friday that he could avoid military action against Iran, noting that he has not ruled out talking again with Tehran about a potential nuclear deal.
Trump said during the premiere of a documentary about his wife Melania, "I built the military in my first term, and now we have a group (of warships) heading to a place called Iran, and I hope we don't have to use them."
He added regarding the possibility of talks with Tehran, "I did it before and I plan to do it again. Yes, we have a lot of very big and very powerful ships sailing toward Iran right now, and it would be great if we didn't have to use them."
