A Small Computer Inspired by PlayStation and Sega

SadaNews - Acemagic is preparing to launch a small desktop computer featuring design elements inspired by the original PlayStation and Sega Dreamcast, aiming to be an attractive addition to the shelves of retro gaming enthusiasts, rather than hiding behind the screen.

Practical and Modern Design

The premium version is called the Board 3 Dual-C Retro Style, and it includes:

- Two upper buttons and a circular indicator that resembles the top disc drive.

- A dedicated power button at the front.

- A front panel featuring USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports, along with a 3.5 mm headphone jack for easy connectivity without needing to reach the back.

New AMD Heart

The device operates on AMD's Gorgon Point platform, with reports indicating a Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor with 12 cores and 24 threads, in addition to a Radeon 890M iGPU with 16 compute units.

The device also supports:

- SO-DIMM memory up to 64 GB.

- NVMe PCIe 5.0 storage of up to 4 TB for each storage unit.

The small device's case has a volume of 0.73 liters and dimensions of 140 × 128 × 40.8 mm, making it suitable for living rooms and narrow shelves.

Pricing and Release Date

Acemagic has yet to disclose the price or the launch date, leaving the CES 2026 showcase as a preliminary look at the design and initial specifications.

If you are a fan of nostalgic classic gaming devices and are looking for a small computer that combines retro design with the latest "AMD" processors, then this model is worth the wait.

However, the final price and options will determine whether it is just an attractive piece on the shelf or a practical device with strong specifications.
