Fateh: The Legitimacy of Any Committee for Gaza Management Derives from Its Connection to the Legal Reference of Palestinian State Institutions
SadaNews - The official spokesperson for the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fateh), Abdul Fattah Dula, affirmed that the legitimacy of any committee for managing the Gaza Strip, regardless of its members and titles, derives from its connection to the legal reference of the sovereign institutions of the State of Palestine. He emphasized that the Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the Palestinian state and its political and legal system in both Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
Dula clarified that any serious and substantive national dialogue must be based on clear, unequivocal foundations, which include commitment to the Palestine Liberation Organization as the sole legitimate representative of our people, adherence to international legitimacy, a unified political system, a single law, and one civil and security institution, and a unified weapon, as they are the keys to the success of any real dialogue.
He concluded by stating that dialogues that do not abide by these principles are meaningless, and there is no need for meetings just for the sake of meeting. What is needed is responsible dialogue that leads to genuine national unity that serves our people and their cause.
