The Jerusalem House of Money Agency Equips Schools in the Jerusalem Suburbs with Various Essential Supplies and Educational Support Tools

SadaNews - The Jerusalem House of Money Agency, which operates under the Jerusalem Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, today completed the process of equipping schools in several villages belonging to the Jerusalem Governorate with essential supplies, tables, chairs, stationery, educational support tools, and computers, in cooperation with the Governorate's services.

This support targeted the schools of the Bedouin communities of the Jahalin Arabs in the Khan al-Ahmar area and Wadi Abu Hindi, along with the Bedouin school in Badiyat al-Quds, the Al-Muntar School, and the Bedouin school in the Al-Eizariya community, aimed at improving the educational environment in these targeted schools.

On this occasion, the head of the Khan al-Ahmar village council, Eid Khamis, praised "the Moroccan support for the education sector in Badiyat al-Quds," confirming that this support contributes directly to "improving the educational process and stabilizing more than 180 students in the Khan al-Ahmar mixed primary school."

Mr. Khamis expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the government, and the Moroccan people, "in appreciation of their continuous support for the Palestinian people, especially in remote areas suffering from low educational opportunities," and praised the role of the Jerusalem House of Money Agency in implementing this project.

In this context, the school director, Halima al-Zuhaika, stated that the institution "suffers from a significant shortage of educational materials, such as printing papers and tools to assist in explanation and writing on the board," confirming that these tools are essential for conveying educational information correctly to students and motivating them to learn.

Ms. Director explained that the Khan al-Ahmar mixed primary school serves students from five Bedouin communities: Khan al-Ahmar, Al-Karshan, Al-Tabbana, Al-Ara'arah, and Abu Falakh, and includes 164 students from preschool to tenth grade.
In turn, the Mukhtar of the Wadi Abu Hindi community, Mohammed Al-Hamadeen, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for this support, which "comes at a time when Bedouin communities are facing repeated attacks from settlers, which included vandalizing and burning several schools."
Mr. Al-Hamadeen explained that the support included "providing community schools with books, stationery, and computers, in addition to tables, chairs, and cleaning materials," pointing out that the schools were in desperate need of these essential supplies to ensure children's education in a suitable environment.

Meanwhile, Acting Director General of Public Affairs in the Governorate, Inam Abu Zaiter, also expressed her appreciation for this continued support for threatened schools in the Jerusalem area, confirming that it "constitutes a basic leverage to strengthen the resilience of students and citizens in the targeted areas."

Ms. Abu Zaiter emphasized "the importance of the project, which lies in strengthening the resilience of citizens on their land, especially in the targeted Bedouin communities," expressing hope that the coming stages will witness "the implementation of additional developmental projects that contribute to enhancing educational tools and improving the educational environment in these schools."
