Hebrew Channels Reveal New Details from Trump-Netanyahu Summit

Translation by SadaNews - Channel 13, in the evening today, Tuesday, reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented to U.S. President Donald Trump what was considered a "shocking statistic" regarding the number of weapons held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

According to what the channel revealed from behind the scenes of the summit meeting between Trump and Netanyahu, as translated by SadaNews, Netanyahu said: There are still 60,000 Kalashnikov rifles belonging to Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu added: If these rifles are not collected, we will not move to the second phase.

In another context, a source close to Netanyahu stated that he informed Trump that he would not accept Turkish presence on the ground.

According to the channel, aside from mutual commitment and friendship statements, there are differences, most notably regarding the reconstruction of Gaza and moving to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, as well as Turkey's position in the region and how to deal with Iran.

In a related context, the newspaper Israel Hayom mentioned that Trump and Netanyahu agreed to grant a two-month period for the disarmament of Hamas.

Meanwhile, the Hebrew Channel Reshet Kan reported that the mother of Israeli policeman Ran Guily, who accompanied Netanyahu to the United States, said U.S. officials believe Hamas does not accurately know the whereabouts of her son's body.

Channel 12 also reported, as translated by SadaNews, that Trump rejected Netanyahu's condition of returning Guily before transitioning to the second phase.

An Israeli official stated: We must concede on some issues… the meeting was better than we expected, and President Trump understood the needs; conversely, Israel cannot say no to everything.

The channel previously mentioned that Netanyahu and Trump agreed to start reconstruction in the Rafah area even before the disarmament of Hamas, specifically in the areas under the control of the Israeli army which are supposed to begin reconstruction and make progress.

It was indicated that the Rafah crossing will be opened in both directions.

It was pointed out that Netanyahu will be asked to take several steps to provide Trump with the necessary progress in Gaza, and there is immense pressure from Trump's advisors regarding this matter.

It was highlighted that there is no agreement on the duration of Hamas's disarmament and Gaza.

It quoted an Israeli official saying: At this point in time, nothing is clear regarding Gaza, neither in terms of international stability nor even of the technocratic committee, and neither party had an interest in highlighting the differences.

In a related context, Channel Reshet Kan reported that Netanyahu presented Trump with an intelligence file regarding developments in Iran and efforts to rehabilitate its capabilities.

Trump's message to Netanyahu was that he wished to verify the information with U.S. intelligence agencies.

Among the information Netanyahu provided was regarding Iranian ballistic missiles, in addition to air defense weapons and other arms.
