Police: More than 26,000 citizens and visitors crossed through the Karama Crossing during the past week
SadaNews - More than 26,000 citizens and visitors crossed through the Karama Crossing during the past week, while the police apprehended 42 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departing individuals during the week reached (13,496), while the number of incoming travelers was (13,077), indicating moderate traffic for travelers.
During the same period, the police arrested (42) individuals wanted by the judiciary and banned from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or while waiting for their arrival upon entering Palestinian territories. They are wanted in cases pending before the courts and public prosecution.
The police, along with all security and civil agencies in the General Authority for Crossings and Borders, provided numerous facilities and services to all citizens, including coordination for (6) medical cases for travel between both sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances.
