Lawyers' Syndicate: Suspension of Work Before "Tulkarem Courts" Tomorrow in Protest Against the Assault on Lawyer Fares Sharab
SadaNews - The Lawyers' Syndicate expressed its deep concern regarding the assault by lawless individuals on lawyer Fares Sharab yesterday morning in Tulkarem, where his vehicle was set on fire. This attack escalated with heavy gunfire directed at his home early this morning, and the effects of these assaults continue to unfold.
The Syndicate added in a statement, "In light of the serious nature of this event, which is closely related to professional work, and what it represents in terms of serious criminal acts that undermine security and public order, violate the rule of law, and affect the natural right of citizens and their legal representatives to seek justice and resort to the judiciary safely, it is crucial to raise awareness of the grave implications of these criminal acts that extend to various sectors of society. Therefore, the Syndicate Council has decided to suspend work before all regular and military courts and the reconciliation court in Tulkarem Governorate throughout tomorrow, Sunday, November 16, 2025, and calls upon fellow lawyers in various governorates to participate in a protest tomorrow, wearing official legal attire, in rejection of this criminal behavior in front of all courts across the governorates tomorrow, Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 12 p.m."
