Palestinian Bar Association: The Right to Self-Determination and Statehood is an Established Right for the Palestinian People
SadaNews - The Palestinian Bar Association stated in a press release issued this morning on the 37th anniversary of the declaration of the independence document that the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and statehood is an established right stemming from historical and legal truths that cannot be disregarded or replaced, no matter how long the oppression and persecution may last.
The association pointed out that independence and statehood, as inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, require the entire world to work diligently and uphold the law and justice to end the unlawful occupation.
The association emphasized that the challenges facing the international justice system are grave given the scale of violations committed by the military occupation of international law, placing it before a true responsibility and test in terms of its ability to achieve the objectives and purposes of its establishment. This requires the solidarity of the world and all who believe in the right of peoples to self-determination in order to achieve justice and protect it, ultimately granting the Palestinian people their legitimate and natural right to statehood and independence.
