The Head of the Bar Association Meets with the President of the General Union of Lawyers in Spain

SadaNews - Today, the head of the Palestinian Bar Association, attorney Fadi Abbas, held a video conference meeting with his Spanish counterpart, attorney Salvador Gonzalez, the President of the General Union of Spanish Lawyers.

The two parties discussed several issues of mutual concern related to the state of human rights and the rule of law, including the ongoing impacts of assaults and occupation measures in the occupied territory and their effects on the justice sector and the legal profession in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The two sides agreed to continue communication and coordination on several human rights issues and to strengthen the foundations of human rights and shared professional values.
