Police: 26,000 travelers crossed the Karama Crossing last week
SadaNews - More than 26,000 citizens and visitors crossed the Karama Crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 43 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departing travelers during the week was 14,242, while the number of arriving travelers was 12,086, and the flow of travelers was moderate.
During the same period, the police arrested 43 individuals wanted by the judiciary and prohibited from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or upon their arrival as they entered Palestinian territories. These individuals are wanted in cases brought before courts and the public prosecution.
The police and all security and civil bodies in the General Authority for Crossings and Borders provided numerous facilities and services to all citizens, including coordination for 5 medical cases for travel between the two sides of the crossing using Palestinian ambulances.
