Japan Supports the Expansion Project of Rafat Secondary School for Boys
SadaNews - Today, Monday, a grant contract was signed at the Japanese Representative Office in Ramallah under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GGP) program between the Ambassador for Palestinian Affairs and the Japanese Representative to Palestine, Araki Katsuhiko, and the head of the village council in Rafat, Shafiq Shahadeh, valued at 149,788 US dollars.
Through this grant, the village council will create four additional classrooms with a total area of 174 square meters at the Rafat Secondary School for Boys in the village.
This initiative aims to improve the educational and health conditions for students who are currently studying in overcrowded classrooms, and a total of 350 students and 23 teachers will benefit from the project by providing a suitable educational environment for them.
Ambassador Araki congratulated the representatives of the village council and wished them success in implementing the project, reaffirming Japan's unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people from a perspective of human security.
He emphasized the importance of implementing social and economic development projects that meet the needs of Palestinian communities.
