The General Union of the Palestinian Community and the Union of Palestinian Women Participate in "International Left Day" at the Stockholm Fair

SadaNews - Invited by the Swedish Left Party (Vänsterpartiet), the General Union of the Palestinian Community in Sweden and the Union of Palestinian Women in Sweden participated today, Saturday, in the events of "International Left Day" (Vänsterdagarna), held as part of the Stockholm International Fair, with the presence of the party leader Nooshi Dadgostar and several Swedish political and union figures.

The organizers dedicated a special pavilion to Palestine, supervised by the General Union of the Community, where traditional, cultural, and national materials were displayed that embody the history and struggle of the Palestinian people, highlighting the richness and authenticity of the Palestinian identity.

The Palestinian pavilion witnessed a wide turnout from visitors and activists from Sweden and internationally, who expressed their solidarity with Palestine and their interest in learning about its culture and human heritage.

During the event, the head of the General Union of the Palestinian Community in Sweden, Amjad Alaloul, delivered a speech on behalf of Palestine, in which he emphasized the deep relations between the Palestinian and Swedish peoples, praising the positions of the Swedish Left Party supporting Palestinian national rights, and calling for enhancing cooperation and coordination between Swedish solidarity forces and the Palestinian community to advocate for justice and freedom for the Palestinian people.

Alaloul noted that dedicating a pavilion for Palestine at this significant Swedish national event confirms the presence of the Palestinian cause in the conscience of the free people worldwide, and provides an opportunity to introduce Swedish society to the "authentic Palestinian narrative" away from campaigns of distortion and misinformation.
