Foreign Minister Affirms the Necessity of Palestinian Territorial Unity and the Two-State Solution During a Special Session on Palestine at the Mediterranean Dialogue Conference
SadaNews - Foreign Minister and Expatriates Dr. Farsin Agabkian Shahin emphasized during a special session on Palestine at the Mediterranean Dialogue Conference held in Naples, Italy, the necessity of maintaining the unity of Palestinian territories, stressing that there is no alternative to the two-state solution to ensure stability and security in the region.
Minister Shahin pointed out that the Palestinian National Authority is the most capable of managing the Gaza Strip, in line with the Palestinian leadership’s efforts to unify efforts under one state, one constitution, one law, and one weapon.
She also addressed the ongoing efforts to achieve internal reform, confirming that the priority today lies in ending the Israeli occupation of all Palestinian territories occupied in 1967, paving the way for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
