Friends of Palestine Group in Sweden Holds Meeting to Strengthen Palestinian Movement in Europe
SadaNews - On Thursday, the Friends of Palestine Group held a meeting in the Martyr Yasser Arafat Hall in the Swedish city of Helsingborg to discuss ways to enhance the Palestinian movement in Europe and intensify efforts supporting the Palestinian cause across various European arenas.
The participants in the meeting emphasized the importance of unity and coordinating popular and media efforts in support of the rights of the Palestinian people, and confronting Israeli misinformation campaigns in European public opinion. They stressed the need to continue solidarity activities with the Palestinian people in their homeland, especially given the difficult circumstances faced by Gaza and the West Bank.
The group also called for enhancing communication and cooperation with Palestinian and Arab institutions, unions, and communities in Europe, as well as working to expand the base of popular and political support for the Palestinian cause within European societies.
