An American Judge Orders the Deportation of Palestinian Student Mahmoud Khalil
SadaNews - Reuters reported that an American judge has ordered the deportation of Palestinian graduate student Mahmoud Khalil from Columbia University to Algeria or Syria.
Khalil is one of the prominent activists who led the student movement in the United States to denounce the Israeli genocide in Gaza. He was detained by immigration authorities for more than 3 months before being released on bail pending the conclusion of the proceedings to revoke his permanent residency.
