Hamas Describes the U.S. Paper as Surrender, and Netanyahu Warns Gaza Residents Again and Threatens the West Bank

Translation and Follow-up by SadaNews - While Hamas considered the new U.S. proposal as a document of surrender, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to intensify attacks on Gaza City.

Basma Na'im, a member of the political bureau of the movement, tweeted on his Telegram page, as SadaNews followed: "It is clear that we are facing initial ideas that the American side calls an offer, and it is clear that the main objective is to reach a rejection of the offer, not to reach an agreement that leads to a cessation of war, the complete withdrawal of hostile forces, and the exchange of prisoners."

He added: "What is required is a shameful peace or the continuation of war; they talk about the immediate release of all prisoners on the first day, and they condition the withdrawal on the formation of a government that satisfies Israel and the implementation of the tasks assigned to it, foremost among them the security arrangements, redefining Hamas, exploring amnesty for Hamas leaders and ranks, and disarming the resistance, without any mention of reconstruction, for sure."

He continued: The Hamas movement and the resistance factions are concerned with reaching a spending agreement that ends the war, stops the genocide, and opens up prospects for a political solution that achieves our legitimate national goals, but not signing a humiliating surrender document; and the Hamas leadership does not have an emperor like Japan.

This came at a time when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, from the headquarters of the Israeli Air Force, stated that the operation to eliminate the perpetrators of the Jerusalem operation and pursuing their supporters and aides is not enough.

He pointed out that he issued directives to respond strongly to what he described as "terrorist dens," saying: "We have already eliminated terrorist dens in refugee camps, in three of them... We simply evacuated the residents from there and destroyed all the infrastructure of terrorism, and my directives are to do the same in other terrorist dens."

He added, as SadaNews translated, "I am now at the Air Force headquarters. I promised you a few days ago that we would eradicate terrorism... The watchtowers in Gaza, this is exactly what we are doing; in the last two days, 50 towers of this kind have fallen, and the air force has dropped them."

He continued: "All of this is just an introduction, preparing for the main strong operation... a ground maneuver of our forces that are organizing and gathering now in Gaza City."

He went on: "So I tell the residents of Gaza, I seize this opportunity, and listen to me well: You have been warned, get out of there!"
