The Higher Presidential Committee for Churches Calls for Supporting the People of Palestine and Protecting Their Land and Sanctities on the Occasion of the Prophet's Birth

SadaNews - The Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine called on the Islamic nation and all believers to hasten to save the lives of our people from extermination, starvation, and displacement, especially in the Gaza Strip, and to protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qibla, and the night journey and ascension of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, which the occupation is trying to spatially divide step by step.

In a statement issued by its chairman, Dr. Ramzi Khoury, a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, on the occasion of the Prophet's birth, the committee stated that the expected celebration of this occasion by the Islamic nation during these difficult and painful times for the children, women, elders, and men of Palestine is to support them in liberating them from oppression and suffering, following the example of the one commemorated by this cherished occasion and elevating the event's significance.

The committee reaffirmed that our people, both Muslims and Christians, celebrate this noble occasion together and do what they believe in to defend their future in their land and their Christian and Islamic sanctities. They face the projects of the occupation and settlers in the occupied Palestinian territories, including its eternal capital, the city of Jerusalem, with courage and pride.

The committee prayed to God Almighty to bring back this memory with the removal of this abhorrent occupation, with our people gaining their freedom and independence and returning to their land, living in dignity and honor. Furthermore, may Allah bestow security and peace upon the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations and humanity as a whole.
