Fatah Movement and Palestinian Community Participate in Farewell of Lebanese Ambassador in Sweden

SadaNews - A delegation from the Fatah Movement and the Palestinian community in Sweden participated today, Thursday, in Stockholm, in bidding farewell to the Lebanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, Hassan Saleh, in the presence of several ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, and members of Swedish political parties.

The delegation included the Secretary of the Fatah Movement in the Sweden region, Majed Oweida, the President of the General Union of the Palestinian Community in Sweden, Amjad Al-Aloul, and a member of the administrative board and the head of foreign relations for the union, Ahmad Suleiman.

During his speech, Ambassador Saleh dedicated a significant part to discussing the suffering in the Gaza Strip due to famine and the genocide that the Palestinian people are facing, affirming his continuous support for the legitimate rights of Palestinians to freedom and justice.

Former Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström also delivered an emotional speech calling for an end to the war in Gaza and urging the international community to take urgent action to end the suffering of civilians, emphasizing that "the voice of justice and humanity must be heard in all forums."

The attendees expressed their deep appreciation for the efforts that Ambassador Saleh made during his tenure in Sweden to strengthen relations between Lebanon and Sweden and his commitment to fostering communication bridges with Arab communities, especially in serving the members of the Palestinian community in Sweden.
