Arab Parliament President: The Occupation's Massacres Against Journalists and Medical and Relief Teams are 'War Crimes'

Sada News - The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Al-Yamahi, condemned the Israeli occupation's escalation of genocide and the horrific massacres it commits against Palestinian civilians, as well as the systematic targeting of journalists, medical, and relief teams in the Gaza Strip. He also highlighted the crime of systematic starvation that has led to the deaths of many unarmed civilians, warning that its continuation will lead to further tension and threaten international peace and security.

In a press statement issued today, Tuesday, Al-Yamahi stated that the massacres committed by the occupation at the Nasser Medical Complex, which were broadcast live to the entire world, are considered "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity in their complete form."

He pointed out that the occupation does not stop at brutal bombardment but applies immediate extermination policies through massacres and slow extermination by preventing food, medicine, and humanitarian aid, leading to famine, in one of the most heinous crimes of modern times, denouncing the silence of the international community.

The President of the Arab Parliament also called on the United Nations, the European Union, the International Federation of Journalists, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to assume their legal and moral responsibilities, pressuring the occupation to halt the escalation, end the war, ceasefire, and enter into a truce agreement, emphasizing that continued silence is a "stain of shame on the forehead of humanity."

Al-Yamahi called for the immediate suspension of the occupation entity from all international organizations and federations, as it violates the principles of the international system and disregards all international laws, which necessitates the imposition of comprehensive and urgent economic, political, and military sanctions on the leaders of the occupation.

At the same time, he demanded urgent action from the International Criminal Court regarding these crimes that fall under the genocide file and the prosecution of those responsible as war criminals.
